It provides you with sufficient information to troubleshoot issues. You'll also be able to access the root cause analysis reports for your various outages. Monitor Status "DOWN":
- This "Error while parsing the WHOIS Server Response" may occur for a few domains; as we currently have a basic version of the parser. This may occur mainly for country specific top level domains (TLD's). Nevertheless, we are planning to
enhance the parser's capabilities in the future. - When the WHOIS Server is unable to retrieve any record for the particular domain, we raise this outage issue; It occurs when the user searches for a domain which does not exist. We then raise an alert saying that the "domain does not exist".
- Monitor is in Trouble status when the configured threshold expiry days have been breached.
Inventory Dashboard
This dashboard captures the basic monitor inventory details such as the Registered Domain Name, Monitor licensing category, Associated Monitor Group(s), Monitor creation time, last modified time. Monitor status messages will be automatically logged in as notes. Any user comment will also be displayed in the note section.
